Dot on a Wall

Dot on a Wall

I went to the newly renovated AGO.

Eh… *Shrug*

I was more impressed with the building than with the art. Beautiful renovation of the building, the stairs gave me quite a workout. Out of the thousands of pieces in the gallery, however, I saw about three pieces I like.

But then I saw it: the dot on the wall. A piece that inspired me never to do modern art. I really wanted to take the brush pen in my pocket and draw a moustache on the stupid things.

I digress, my earlier tour of the U of T campus was much more thrilling, I got some great photo references of the campus. We had a lecture on uhm… Well I can’t even remember, but they played this:

…Yeah. In that form.

After I raped my feet at the AGO I wandered around downtown Toronto taking pictures and looking for a phone book. They don’t exist. I need a cell phone.

I passed by OCAD (oh my god yey~) and continued to wander until I miraculously found the place I was searching for: Malabar. I looked around, a flamboyantly gay man tried to sell me a steam-punk beret, and I left with the green wig that I was looking for. My Cosmo cosplay is a go! 8D

After that I continued to wander and once again miraculously found Silver Snail, one of my crack suppliers. I bought discount comics and frolicked about. Then I wandered back to the subway station and home. Where I fell over. Until my mom made me do more shopping.
