I went out for a delicious dumpling dinner with my mom and my friend Sabrina. About halfway through the power went out. Prompting Sabrina to do her incredibly accurate terrified Japanese school girl impression and latch onto my arm. Which was incredibly counterproductive, since she latched onto the side of the pocket that the light on my keys was on. After I shook her off, I grabbed my keys and we ate by the green light of my emergency light, until they brought out the candles.
The candles of course prompted me to start singing “Bella Notte”.
I’m still not sure whether it was the lack of light or my singing that drove out the rest of the people in the restaurant…

It was definitely one of the more memorable dining experiences of my life. xD
