I got home today and saw a white envelope in my mail box. It was from the University of Toronto. I had applied to the Scarborough campus and the St.George campus to appease my mother. A few days ago, I had gotten my acceptance to the Scarborough Campus of U of T; this meant this envelope was from the St. George Campus, as that was the other campus I had applied to.
It was the big envelope.
I opened it.
Inside was the letter congratulating me on my acceptance to the Humanities program at St. George Campus Trinity College.
Trinity College is the most prestigious college in U of T. Most of my more studious friends were rejected from that college. A lot of my more intelligent friends didn’t even bother to apply.
However, I’m going to Sheridan College to get a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Animation).
I laughed for forty minutes until I started hiccupping.
