This goose just got herself a surfboard.
Why yes, I’m a Canadian goose-y shapesifter. And yes, YOU CAN SURF ON A LAKE. Not normal lakes, however, the Great Lakes babe. It’s all about the winds.
Anyways, yeah… just went and picked up my first board. I’d done a bunch of surfing in Hawaii in January and really liked it; thought I may as well see if I could do it in the Great White North. Turns out, yeah, you can! My mom actually bought the board for me, since she seems to be on this health kick and knows I can’t resist water-sports. (I owe her $500 for half the cost of all my equipment now, however…) I plan on going out somewhere on Saturday. Haven’t decided where, but probably down to the Scarborough bluffs.
I got errands and commissions to do tomorrow (my new shades broke :/ ), but on Firdya I’m going TO THE EX! It’s $1.75 admission because of the 175th birfdae.
