Less lucid than yesterday so I remembered to go see her Q & A.
Jessie is the voice of Toph and this was her first convention ever. She was rightfully fearful of us.
The con staff suggested she sing in a concert (which I missed because I was trippin’ on cold meds), where she apparently sang Hannah Montana songs with Vic Mignogna. Try not to hold it against her.
Anyways, she talked about herself for the most part. Mostly because she’s about 14 and her mom was sitting in the back watching, and people were afraid to ask questions.
The questions took a really weird turn when we got on the subject of pets. Jessie apparently has a ferret named Scrabbles, used to have a horde of rats, and once smuggled a pair of turtles onto an airplane in her socks so she could give them to her cousin in another state.
At some point she said she wants to be a heart surgeon. This caused the entire room to go silent.
If she’s invited back to Anime North next year as G.O.H. she plans on cosplaying Fire Nation Toph. xD
…How am I remembering all of this?
