In the style of the great Tarantino, I believe now is the time for a formal introduction:
Aloha, my name is Julia, but I am more commonly known on the vast plains of the internet as Eevachu.
I’m a 17 year old artist from Toronto, Canada, and I’m hoping someday to be a comic artist or animator. I specialize in digital paintings and a pop-japonist (or pseudo-anime/comic) style. I currently work as a freelance commission artist, mostly within the art community.
I’m an avid otaku (that’s noobish for anime fan), and I help run an anime club. I also have an (at times) insane obsession with all things animation, especially Disney films. I regularly attend most Toronto anime conventions (Anime North, Fan Expo, etc.) and hope to start attending some more cons in the states, and maybe even some furry conventions.
Oh right, and that whole furry thing.
My fursona is well… I’m not sure anymore. For a while I was an eevachu (and eevee/pikachu cross), then I was a tamearatter (a tamarin/bear/otter/rat cross) and now… I guess I’m a monkey/bear. I have never had a single fursona/persona, so I choose to represent myself as multiple things, but the most common are the ones featured in this sketch (from left to right/top to bottom; Golden Polar-Sea Tamearatter, Eevachu, Human, Canadian Nēnē, Golden-Polar Tamearin, and Sea Roatter). They are all forms of a single character: Eeva, a character from an in progress comic series.
…Well that was confusing wasn’t it? Ah well, it makes sense to me.
If you have any other questions about my illustrious self, feel free to ask.
